Abstract:   (23 Views)
Introduction: Current literature in the field of environmental management suggests that employee behavior is necessary to enhance environmental outcomes, but few studies have examined how human resource management is related to green innovation in organizations. The purpose of this study is to investigate the impact of green human resource management on green innovation through green human capital, environmental knowledge and environmental management concerns.
Materials & Methods: The present research is descriptive in terms of purpose, in terms of applied audience, in terms of cross-sectional time, and also in terms of data collection survey. Managers and employees of Gas Administration of Khuzestan province are considered as the statistical population in this study; the sample size was determined using Cochran's formula of 306 people and stratified sampling method was used. SPSS and PLS software and structural equation test were used to analyze the data.
Results: The results showed that green human resource management can affect the green human capital of the industry, while the lack of awareness of high-level management of environmental issues reduces the relationship between green human capital and green human resource management. Therefore, according to the said content, it is concluded that green human resources management has a significant effect on green human capital with the role of moderator of environmental management concerns.
Conclusion: Managerial environmental attitudes significantly affect the application of environmental management techniques, especially for industries that face environmental challenges. Attitudes and behaviors of top managers are necessary to implement environmental activities that contribute to human capital during the adaptation and implementation of green human resource practices. Based on this, green human resource management can increase the skills, knowledge and abilities of employees through green training and participation.
